"A very readable and enjoyable book. I camped with my siblings and parents in our 36 foot Airstream (there were 6 kids) for many, many years until I was compelled to engage in grown-up pursuits; marriage (divorced 5 years later) college, law school, practicing law and many other expected-of-me requirements. If you can believe this, being from Michigan and my dad being an attorney, the courts were pretty much closed every summer giving us the opportunity to travel all that time to places like Mexico etc) I am now 63 and have a lovely and talented daughter and also a very talented grandson who I helped raise (he is now 26 and the love of my life). I always had the travel-bug and planned to travel full-time once I retired. However, I am now disabled (wheelchair-bound) and lost my savings and I currently rely on social security disability. I believed that my dream was gone-mostly because of the loss of my savings. Ms. Romaine's book gave me the confidence to plan again and the hope that I can accomplish my dream. Purchase this book-you will not be sorry that you did. Next, I am going to purchase the book on her Aunt Rose and "The Little Road Book". Lynn, I hope you are back on the road.
